Majedi was founded in 2019 with a vision to bridge a gap in the plus size market in South Africa. We aim to provide comfort and affordability to a group that’s usually shamed and isolated.
the founder of Majedi being plus size herself, felt that there’s still much of a gap in the industry for plus size women. Especially for comfortable everyday items, that we can we’re on the daily.
The lockdown gave her a must better perspective of what exactly was missing in the industry, items were either too small, took long to arrive and what sets Majedi from the rest is that all our items a manufactured by Majedi locally by plus size women for plus size women who better understand the struggles of finding a good fit for the curved.
